Course selections

We started course selections today. As usual, the presentation promoted not taking advanced classes and that “D is for diploma, C is for college.” I felt that the whole thing was a load of bs. Unfortunately, they have banned double science classes, so I find myself looking for a fifth class to fill out the required number of credits. The classes I’m thinking of now are APUSH, APLAC, AP Statistics, and AP Chemistry. Hopefully, with only 4 or 5 classes, I’ll be able to come home earlier and take a college course at De Anza or something.

APUSH Diagnostic Test

I just took the APUSH diagnostic test this morning. It turns out that the score you get on this test doesn’t really matter, it is just to show how badly you might do in the class. Surprisingly, the test was not particularly hard, in fact, one could almost call it easy. I finished in the first fifteen minutes, I’m actually taking the test right now. XD. There’s been an interesting ringtone that all of us here keep hearing, I do feel sorry for its owner, he or she must be hopelessly embarrassed. Its a decent ringtone, though, I’ll give it that much.

Course selection starts tomorrow, and they’re not allowing double sciences, so I find myself with a shortage of classes to take next year. =(. Hopefully I can find some courses to take after school to further my studies.

Spanish…

We were doing an activity in Spanish today involving matching words… and one of the phrases listed was this:

Now, if you don’t know Spanish, it may be a little confusing about why this is interesting, but it turns out that this phrase means “No, thank you, you disgust me”. I believe this happens to fit in rather well with Revilla’s normal personality, so I’m not too surprised.
