I got out of school half an hour early today to get my braces taken off. It’s been two years, so I’m understandably relieved. Unfortunately, I still have to wear retainers. Retainers are arguably worse than braces, since they take up more room. However, the benefit is that I don’t have to wear them all the time… xD. They kinda screw with my enunciation though. I’ll be doing random speech exercises to get the ability to say “th-” back for the next couple of days.
Retainers are horrible. I think I’d rather have worn braces forever

Pretend you still have them and go to school and see how long it takes ppl to notice..
i only had to wear retainers at night after I got them off which was really nice

hey, retainers arent that bad. the annoying part is that when u hav to eat, u hav to take them off, brush them at night, and you talk funny, but at least they dont hurt as much as braces do, and u dont hav to go to your orthodontist as often
