I was looking for a way to repost Aeturnalus posts on Facebook when I found this awesome service called Posterous It’s claim to fame is its ability to post anything via email to any service. You can even start now, just click this and type up a post. It will reply and ask you to sign up, after you’re signed up, you’ve got a blog (not a great one… but wtv) ready to go.
The feature I really liked about it, however, has nothing to do with email. Posterous has the ability to post to just about any online service, which means… Aeturnalus posts now reappear on Facebook!. Magical plugin for the integration is called “Posterize”. Even if you don’t use WordPress as your primary blogging tool, there are Posterous apps for just about all the services it supports, so pick the one you like and the rest will be updated automatically.
There are some problems with Posterous, the first of which comes to mind is the slow, one-by-one setup of logins for each service. They are not in one huge form, but jumbled around in many single forms. The actual Posterous blog doesn’t have the greatest design, but it’ll work for beginners.
If you have a blog, try out Posterous – at the very least, it’ll be less annoying to repost onto Facebook.
