Apparently theres a new movie coming out called District 9. It has a very interesting story premise, seeing as it started out as the short film “Alive in Joburg”. Themes within the movie are likely to represent racism, apartheid, exploitation, and the other horrible parts of human society.

No, they’re missing something in their calculations – I would never have paid to see it in the first place. If I have to pay, I just won’t watch it until such a point that I can borrow the DVD off someone.

More illegal downloads -> support for websites which should not be allowing the distribution in the first place -> less support for borrowing from libraries or actually buying from stores -> less money going to public services or the company
while yes, they don’t make as much money because people do legally share dvds and whatnot, companies are making less and less each year as support for downloading grows
