We had our first Homecoming meeting today, at Rainbow Park. Participation was decent, although (as expected) there were significantly more girls than guys.
Basic summary:
- We’re splitting it into various committees. Examples:
- Script
- Choreography
- Guys’ Dance
- Girls’ Dance
- Couples’ Dance
- Decorations
- Backdrop
- We are going to use the Yahoogroup from now on. If you’re a member of the Class of 2012, sign up.
- Our theme is Neverland
- Donate supplies, especially cardboard, wood, etc.
- Don’t do too many groups (that was like 60% of their speech… but wtv)
However, there seems to be some miscommunication between the classes. 2012 officers say that the Class of 2011′s theme is Indiana Jones, while the email sent out to the Class of 2011 states that it is in fact Mulan. I’m not sure how this could have happened… and also, can someone confirm which one 2011 is doing?

Based on a timestamp, the blast email was sent after the last meeting 2012 had with 2011, so I’d assume the email is more correct.
